President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe is the latest to question the recoveries of COVID-19 patients in the country.

Franklin Cudjoe is seeking to find out how so many people ‘miraculously’ recovered from the disease in a rather short space of time considering the slow recoveries recorded in the past weeks.

The Government has had to deal with many controversies surrounding its fight against COVID-19; from allegations of massaging the figures being churned out to challenges with the country’s testing capacity. The latest of these contentions is the recovery rate which has shot up from less than 15 per cent to over 30 per cent since Friday, May 15, 2020.

The current recoveries of the country, according to the Ghana Health Service, are 1,754, out of some 5,735 cases.

Taking to his Facebook page on Saturday, Franklin Cudjoe wondered where and how the over 1,000 patients were healed miraculously.

He wrote, “Grateful to our covid-19 managers. But were the 1000+ overnight recoveries all at one prayer camp? Since the Pentecost day in the New Testament and the feeding of the 5,000 by Jesus, never have so many been miraculously healed. There is a God.”
