Running mate to former President Mahama, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang says she will ensure all supporters are consulted in the NDC’s decision making in the buildup to the December polls.

According to her, irrespective of one’s background, the party remains committed to offering a listening ear to all as it prepares to recapture power from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking at an event to formally introduce her to the Functional Executive Committee of the party in Accra on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, Prof Opoku-Agyemang stressed that the party’s ticket “will bring all our people on board” and “will work to include everyone and open opportunities to all our people irrespective of who they are, or where they come from.”

The nomination of Prof Opoku-Agyemang has generated excitement among a section of the populace with some lauding former President Mahama’s decision to choose her as his running mate for the December 7 elections.
