National Organizer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Desmond Twumasi Ntow has scored President Addi Dankwa Akufo-Addo 45 per cent for the COVID-19 fight, saying that that president had performed poorly.

In an interview with ABC, he said “I will give the President 45 percent – he has performed poorly,” he said.

Desmond Ntow queried, “how can you allow students to go back to school when you know very well how bad our situation is.”

Some parents and teachers unions are outraged after some senior high schools started recording COVID-19 cases since the president asked some categories of students to return to school.

Accra Girls was the first to record cases, but since then, schools such as Mawuli SHS, Bishop Herman College, Mawuko Girls, Dabala SHS and others have recording cases, as the case count among students keep rising.

This according to the PNC National Organizer, suggests that the NPP flagbearer has failed.

“We will be very different when we come into power – we will listen and learn,” he said.
