President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has begun a three-day official visit to the Eastern Region today, ABC News can report.

The President has since Monday, October 07, 2019, embarked on a tour of various regions.

He has visited the Bono and Ashanti Regions so far.

The tour offers him an opportunity to interact with citizens, stakeholders, and opinion leaders, inspect ongoing development projects, as well as, cut sod for new projects to commence.

Following his successful tour of the Bono Region and Ashanti Regions, President Akufo-Addo has begun his Eastern Regional tour at Nkawkaw which is in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Region.

In a Facebook video posted by the Information Ministry, today, President Akufo-Addo was inspecting some ongoing projects in the area.

Residents who massed up at the venue were heard chanting songs in the local palance which translates, “Nana what should we do to you, you are too good”

The President will end his tour of the Region on Monday, 14th October 2019.
