Founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has revealed that prayer is the ultimate key to end the novel coronavirus.

Describing the COVID-19 as a demonic disease that has manifested in the flesh, the controversial prophet said drugs administered to infected patients will not yield results because the virus is a spiritual thing that needs to be fought spiritually.

According to the controversial Pastor, the president’s decision to ban large and social gatherings is a bit harsh since Men of God needed to assemble to pray consistently in bringing an end to the pandemic.

According to him, churches play an integral role and the world will come to an end once Men of God stop praying.

He believes that until the coronavirus is fought in the spiritual realms, health experts will find it difficult to come out with a vaccine.

Making a submission on Good Evening Ghana on the spiritual angle of the disease, Prophet Nigel said “Coronavirus is spiritual, anything that happens in the physical it’s spiritual. Nothing happens in the physical divorce of the hand of the spiritual. Coronavirus is a demon, coronavirus connotes fear and anything fear is of the devil”.

“That is the reason why when I heard activities of churches to be suspended I regretted a bit but we welcome it. The president could have been more gracious because the answer to coronavirus is not the Oval Office of Donald Trump or the Parliament or Flagstaff House. It’s the church, we have to pray. The bible says if there’s any among you who is sick we should pray. And the answer to coronavirus is prayer…The church plays a very important role…the church must pray…The day the church stops to pray, the world we come to an end,” he exclaimed.
