Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has criticized the politicians for urging Ghanaians to register for the new voter’s card despite the spike in coronavirus cases.
In a twitter post, the actress said it is contradictory for politicians to ask citizens to stay safe by staying home and at the same time ask them to go and register.
In her view, “the politician doesn’t care” about Ghanaians.
She explained that, joining long queues to register, increases the risk of contracting the virus.
The actress further asked Ghanaians to think critically, adding that not voting this year won’t change a thing in their lives.
Politician: stay home, stay safe ~ people: ok ~ Politician: go out and register ~ people: ok ME: the politician doesnt care about you, use your common sense, this election wont change anything in your life, joining crowded queues endangers your life.
