Police have released the founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim after meeting a GHC 100,000 bail condition.

For three days, the controversial preacher was in police custody after he failed to meet the condition which was granted by an Accra Magistrate Court.

Bishop Obinim was arrested earlier this week and charged with the publication of false information and forgery of documents.

The controversial preacher is, according to the Ghana Police Service, being investigated for other offences.

Bishop Daniel Obinim is set to reappear in court on Monday, June 1, 2020.
