The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will launch its 2020 manifesto on Saturday, August 22, 2020, General Secretary, John Boadu has announced.
According to him, the manifesto will be outdoored at a national council meeting to be held on the same day.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, John Boadu said the manifesto will highlight the “way forward” of the NPP ahead of the 2020 general elections.
He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to “look on that day to heartwarming policies detailing how with your support we will transform Ghana for the benefit of all.”
John Boadu added, “Your NPP government remains focused and expect a massive turnout on December 7 to consolidate the leadership and good governance offered by His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.”
The Party also disclosed that it will hold a steering committee meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, to “validate and accept” the date set for the launch of the manifesto.
