The New Patriotic Party is optimistic it will sweep all 23 parliamentary seats in the Central Region.

Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong said in an interview that the governing party is winning not less than 21 seats in the December general election.

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), won four parliamentary seats in the Region in 2016, but Ken Agyapong said on Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM’ that the NPP will take all four seats back.

According to him, the NDC is just building castles in the air because the NPP has worked actively in the region and they are absolutely sure of victory.

Mr. Agyapong said the NPP MPs and parliamentary candidates were working with the grassroots for a resounding victory.
