Expect a moderate to heavy rainstorm today. That is the prediction from the Ghana Meteorological Agency which is warning that some parts of the country will today record a storm.

This warning comes amid a surge in the country’s confirmed cases of the deadly COVID-19.

Case-patients of the disease has shot to 52, up from last night’s figure of 27.
The rainstorm which is expected to begin from the North-Eastern and middle parts of the country has been projected to move westwards and end in the southern part of the country.
A weather warning issued by Evelyn Addai Amankwah, an official of the Meteo Agency also added that places like Eastern, Volta, Ashanti, Greater Accra, Central and Western regions will experience thunderstorms later this afternoon.
