The former President’s tweet come days after Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Tuesday picked Sen. Kamala D. Harris as his running mate. The move has been celebrated globally as a historic achievement as it marks the first time a Black and an Asian American woman is running for vice president on a major-party ticket.
