The weekly update on Ghana’s status as regards the outbreak of the COVID-19 disease is underway at the Ministry of Information’s press centre.
Today, the Information Minister and all other stakeholders who will address the Tuesday session will focus their discussions on an update in the country’s case count and case management, a dive into District-based analysis of infections and an analysis of the country’s mortality data.
The information Minister is also set to give a brief on the key priorities of the Akufo-Addo administration after the three-day Cabinet retreat which ended on Sunday, March 10, 2020.
Currently, Ghana has recorded nearly 5,000 infections of the COVID-19 disease, making it number one in case counts on the West African countries map.
From the current 4,700 cases, 494 persons have recovered while 22 have unfortunately succumbed to the disease.
