ABC News Ghana is an investigative media house that focuses on politics, sports and the economy. Our work is thoroughly researched, balanced and fair. Our vision is to become the most preferred indigenous news brand for men in West Africa.

The host of Joy FM’s flagship Super Morning Show, Daniel Dadzie has been reassigned by the management of the Multimedia Group to become the new face of Joy Prime, a television channel under the group.

ABC News sources say, his place has been taken over by a former host of the show, Kojo Yankson who returns after more than two years.

According to our deep-throat sources, Kojo Yankson will be supported by a former host of 3FM’s morning show, Winston Amoah and Animwaa Anim-Addo as co-hosts of the show.

Confirming his exit from the Joy SMS, Daniel Dadzie expressed his appreciation to his patrons for their support and encouragement during the years he spent as the host of the show.

“These few years have been a blessing. I loved every moment I spent with you. Duty calls and I have to move elsewhere. Hope you will still have my back in my new assignment. Thanks for your kindness and support,” Daniel Dadzie said on social media.

Daniel Dadzie’s presence at Joy Prime is expected to give the primarily entertainment station a new depth and pave way for a new agenda.

2018 will go down as Daniel’s favourite year on radio as he won the Radio and Television Personality ( RTP) Award for Radio Morning Show Host of the Year with the Joy SMS  also picking the award for the Radio Morning Show of the Year.

This development comes barely a year after a campaign surfaced on social media seeking for the reinstatement of Kojo Yankson as the host of the show.
