Italian champions, Juventus have sacked their Coach, Maurizio Sarri after a season at the helm of the club.
The decision follows a disappointing spell in this season’s Champions League campaign crushing out in the Round of 16 stage.
The Old Ladies were kicked out of the UCL by Lyon on away goal rule.
A club statement noted, “Juventus announces that Maurizio Sarri has been relieved of his post as coach of the first team.
“The club would like to thank the coach for having written a new page in Juventus’ history with the victory of the ninth-consecutive championship, the culmination of a personal journey that led him to climb all the divisions of Italian football.”
The former Napoli and Chelsea boss led Juventus to their 9th straight scudetto.
According to reports, former Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino and former Juve Coach Massimiliano Allegri have been tipped to replace the former banker and coach.
