President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed worry over stigmatization of persons who test positive for COVID-19.
According to the President, the phenomenon is militating against the fight against the virus.
In an address to Ghanaians on Sunday, June 14, President Akufo-Addo said ”there is nothing shameful about testing positive for COVID-19”
Ghana has so far recorded 11,964 positive cases of COVID-19 with 4,284 recoveries and 54 deaths. This means there are currently 7,652 active cases of COVID-19 cases in the country.
