Isaac Oppong scores again as Asante Kotoko defeated Eleven Wonders 2-0 in the Ghana Premier League to extend their winning streak to four on Saturday.

The Porcupine Warriors secured all three points in their matchday four fixture at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

Coach Prosper Narteh’s side opened their league campaign with a 3-1 win over Dreams FC before beating Bechem United (2-0) and newly-promoted Bibiani Gold Stars (1-0).

The win keeps them top of the league table with 12 points, three points above closest contenders King Faisal.

Kotoko opened the scoring in the 28th minute as Mudasiru Salifu dispossessed his man in midfield and sent a pass through to Boateng who, with the second touch, hit a low shot from just outside the box beyond goalkeeper Abdulai Ibrahim to make it 1-0.

The second goal came in the 77th minute, when Gama picked out Oppong wide with a brilliant through-ball.

Asante Kotoko will play as guests of Karela United on match week five of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Accra Lions beat Bechem United 2-1, courtesy of Rauf Salifu and Christopher Acheampong’s strikes to seal their first league win of the season.

Augustine Okrah bagged the consolation goal for Bechem United.
