Artiste manager, Bulldog has said it is impossible for him to manage a female artiste without having sexual relations with her.
He argues that managers are humans and have feelings. According to him, managing an artiste means spending almost all your time with the person and that can lead to developing affection for the person.
Speaking on in an interview on Drive Time on Joy FM on Thursday, monitored by ABC News, Bulldog said it will be unrealistic for practitioners in his field to say the opposite of what he is saying.
”This is where I say some of us the practitioners are not being realistic when we sit on radio and TV. Let’s put it out there the way it is. So that the people out there will understand that we too are humans and some of these things are likely to come up,” he said.
He continued that “So, I work into the night like around 12 am or 1 am, now this artiste lives in maybe Dansoman, I am from Dome, we work in Tema. I have to drive back like 3 am to Dansoman from Tema before I go to Dome.”
”If we do this continuously for two weeks, we will start talking about other things. I cannot do that. Any female artist I manage, I will sleep with her. I believe in talent and my believe in talent is beyond the regular. I have to be like the talent. I want to mimic the talent to be able to push them. For me, it is highly spiritual,” he said.
Bulldog, however, says his inability to stay away from sleeping with his female artistes is the reason he has stayed away from managing any.
Bulldog’s statement follows discussions after singer eShun had said that she was left penniless after she and her ex-manager parted ways.
According to her, they were dating and hence believed they were working together towards a future as husband and wife.
