Former Multimedia presenter, Godsbrain Kwadwo Smart has opened up on some of the reasons why he is taking up a new role at Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) after resigning from the Multimedia Group.

The presenter has revealed that he wants to continue his education to obtain a degree hence his decision to resign from Adom FM.

Speaking in an interview with Kofi TV monitored by ABC News, the former morning show host revealed that his highest educational qualification is Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE). According to him, he has now felt the need to climb higher the academic ladder.

Captain Smart, who appeared a bit emotional explained that since he never tasted tertiary education, all his achievements in life are a result of the training he has received from home during his upbringing.

He, therefore, announced that his resignation from Adom FM is partly to give him space to study in order to obtain a degree adding that in the next couple of years, he will achieve his dream of holding a bachelor’s degree.

“I have not totally left radio. I love radio honestly speaking. I believe God created me to do radio so I will return to radio. You know I don’t have a degree as you people have. After SHS, I have not continued again. I don’t have a degree and everything that I have been able to achieve in this life is as a result of the home training I received,” Captain revealed.

He added that “I need some little space to study to at least have a degree. I’m sure by the two-three years I should be able to gather the certificates I want to gather. But I have not left radio, maybe coming Monday, I will speak on radio.”
