Reggae and Dancehall artiste Samini has said that he is the most consistent and relevant musician in Ghana, ABC News can report.

The musician made these comments in a twitter post on Monday.

He said several of his contemporaries from back in the day have lost relevance yet he remains on top of his game.

“I’m the most consistent and the most relevant from my era . Still on top form. Still playing top 4.we Dey before dem start crawl.I’m your favorite artiste’s inspiration if only he would tell you the truth lol. I guess not however I’m the baddest from the 90s still skanking,” he tweeted.

His tweet got many talking with a number of people criticising the reggae artist and his management team for failing to capitalise on social media to leverage on and improve upon his brand.
But in a rebuttal, the “My own” hitmaker rubbished the claim saying he is doing well enough to be abreast of time despite having hit the limelight at a time when social media was non-existent.
“1999-2019. that’s 2decades bro. How old is social media love ?Some of us were here before this golden age of online fan base stuff. Compare me to my mates who hit before internet and ask me how I’ve managed to not fade.I’m happy with my fans bro,” he added.
