Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, known in music circles as Sarkodie has achieved another significant feat in his music career after clinching the BET’s Best International Flow Award Saturday, ABC News can report.
The multiple award-winning rapper won the Award at the 2019 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Hip Hop Awards at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, GA.
He battled for the newly created Best International Flow category alongside six other artistes, including Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K), Nasty C (South Africa) and Tory Lanez (Canada).
This is not the first time Sarkodie is winning an award at the BET.
The “illuminati” hitmaker won the Best International Act (Africa) at the BET 2012 Awards which was held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in the US.

Sark, who was full of delight at yesterday’s ceremony, dedicated his new award to his daughter, Adalyn Owusu Addo (Titi).
He also used the opportunity to urge the world to visit Ghana as part of the Year of Return celebrations.
“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home,” he said.
Following the announcement of the award, some celebrities and fans of the revered rapper have taken to social media to congratulate him for making Ghana proud once again.
Award winning Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy extolled Sarkodie for achieving the milestone, describing him as an”African musical giant.”

Veteran musician, Obrafour described the milestone as another victory for Ghana and urged the rapper to continue in his blessings.
