Hearts of Oak will face JS Souara of Algeria in the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round.

The draw was conducted at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday.

The first leg matches will be played between November 26-28, 2021 while the second leg will take place on December, 3 – 5  2021.

The winners of this round will qualify for the group stages of the competition.

Hearts were demoted to the CAF Confederation Cup after losing 7-2 on aggregate to Wydad Athletic Club in the final qualification round of the CAF Champions League.

JS Saoura have regularly taken part in CAF competitions. They finished as runners-up in 2016 and 2018 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.
