President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to developing the country’s creative arts industry.
In view of that, he has promised that his administration will see to the completion of the first-ever Senior High School dedicated to training persons in creative arts.
President, in December 2019, cut sod for the construction of the Creative Arts-centered Senior High School in Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region.
The Creative Arts Senior High School is intended to promote Ghanaian literature, music, dance, drama.
“Government is also reaffirming its commitment to the growth of the industry by commencing the construction of the very first Senior High School in Ghana dedicated fully to the development of the creative art industry,” he said whilst delivering his fourth State of the Nation Address on Thursday.
President Akufo-Addo is optimistic that the project will help groom young talents.
He also hinted on plans to get the support of established creative arts personalities to provide guidance for the running of the school.
