The country’s land, sea, and air borders will remain closed for two more weeks.

According to President Akufo-Addo, this has become necessary due to the dangers posed by the novel coronavirus pandemic in the outside world.

In his tenth televised address to the nation on measures adopted to curb the spread of the disease, the President said the extension is to prevent the import of the virus to the country.
