Ghanaians have expressed diverse opinions over the Electoral Commission’s decision to register final year SHS students in the ongoing voters’ ID registration exercise.

This follows an announcement by the EC that some registration officers will be deployed to all senior high schools from Friday, July 10, 2020, to register eligible students for the exercise.

But this has generated mixed reactions from a section of the populace with some of the view that it will further put students at risk of contracting the virus. Others, however, believe that eligible students deserve the right to vote.

ABC News Emefa Chima has been speaking views on the matter.
