The Ghana Meteorological Agency has predicted torrential rainfall in some parts of the country, today, ABC News can report.
Some Regions to be affected by the rainstorm include Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern and Volta Regions.
According to a release signed by Mohammed Braimah, the duty Forecaster at the Agency, the rains will be recorded between 1500 and 2100 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
With about 70% probability of occurrence, the Meteorological Agency has advised the general public to take necessary precautions.
“A rainstorm observed over the eastern borders and southern half of the country today, November 3, 2019 at 1500UTC is expected to propagate westward and produce moderate to heavy rains over the following places and their environs” the statement indicated.
Among the areas which will be affected include Ho, Hohoe, Kpando, Akatsi, Ada, Anloga, Madina, Adenta, Aburi, Dodowa.
Kumasi, Konongo, Mampong, and Bekwai in the Ashanti Region will have also experience long hours of rains, starting from 1700UTC.
