Milovan Rajevac has been sacked as Ghana coach following Black Stars’ painful exit at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The four-time African champions suffered an early group-stage exit following their 3-2 defeat to debutants Comoros.
Ghana finished bottom of Group C with only one point after three matches played.
The exit increased the pressure on coach Milovan Rajevac, who returned for a second spell in charge in September.
The 68-year-old led the Black Stars to the AFCON final in 2010 and the World Cup quarter-finals the same year and guided the West Africans through to Africa’s play-offs for this year’s World Cup.
It is now expected that he will be replaced with an interim coach as the Black Stars prepare for the final qualifying games for Qatar 2022.
The Black Stars will learn who their opponents will be following a draw in Cairo on Saturday.
