Ghana League Clubs have accepted the new statutes proposed by the Normalisation Committee at a GFA Extra-ordinary Congress held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra.
The Ghana Football Association is now to be governed based on the new statutes adopted by the Ghana League Clubs, ABC News can report.
Some 155 delegates unanimously voted “Yes” in support of the new GFA statutes.
The statutes required more than 75% in favour .
Meanwhile, congress has also adopted the Normalisation Committee’s proposed regulations for the upcoming elections.
The Normalisation Committee is finishing is seeking to conduct elections for the GFA presidency in the coming days.
