Vincent Sowah Odotei, Deputy Communication Minister, is expected to partake in the upcoming Ghana Football Association elections slated for October 25, ABC News can report.
He finds himself on the list of delegates after being nominated by the capital club, Accra Hearts of Oak, as a delegate on their ticket for the elections.
Vincent Sowah Odotei, a former Managing Director of the Club, will represent the club alongside Elvis Hesse Hermann.
The two form part of a 32-man delegation of Premier League Clubs with each of the 16 clubs presenting 2 representatives.
Other inclusions in the Premier League Clubs’ list are Dr. Toni Aubynn, representing Medeama and 4 out of the 6 candidates vying for the Presidential slot. They are Kurt Okraku of Dreams FC, Fred Pappoe of Great Olympics, Yaw Amponsah of Phar Rangers and George Afriyie of Liberty Professionals.
Twenty delegates from the Constituent Bodies of the Ghana Football Association and 48 delegates, one each, from the teams in Division One League Board complete the list of delegates for the GFA elective congress.
In all, about 100 delegates are expected to cast their ballots to elect among others, a new GFA President and an Executive Council to run the affairs of Ghana football.
