Ghana Education Service (GES) has assured 2018 trained teachers that their postings will be finalized by the close of next month, ABC News can report.
In a statement released by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the Head of Public Relations of the GES, the Service informed the general public, especially, trained teachers who completed the various Colleges of Education that plans are far advanced to bring to finality their posting processes.
The statement clarified that those who will be captured in these postings are trained teachers who completed the various Colleges of Education in 2018, successfully passed their Teacher Licensure Examination and are about completing their National Service.
Trained teachers who met the above criteria and duly took part in the online registration will be shortlisted and, subsequently, receive their postings by the end of November 2019.
GES, however, hinted that irrespective of the focus being on trained teachers from the Colleges of Education, there is a window of opportunity for university graduates who pursued Basic Education and those with Early Childhood certificate to be considered.
However, those people will only be considered if they have passed their Licensure Examination and completed their National Service.
A word of caution was given to all applicants to desist from paying any amount of money to any person to effect postings for them.
The Education Service emphasized that they reserve the sole right to post teachers to wherever their services are needed.
