President of policy think tank IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has advised President Akufo-Addo to go live during his next nationwide address to give room for questions and answers as well as promoting interactivity.
Referencing a similar tactic adopted by former President John Dramani Mahama in social media interactions, Franklin Cudjoe believes going live while addressing the nation is the order of the day and the President needs to take advantage of that opportunity.
Since President Akufo-Addo began addressing the nation on his government’s response to COVID-19, the former President has embarked on a similar but upgraded version where he interacts with his audience live through social media.
The latest of such addresses was held yesterday, April 30, 2020, where the former President touched on Ghana’s COVID-19 situation, health care, and his infrastructure legacy as well as issues relating to the choice of a running mate ahead of the December 2020 polls.
In a Twitter post on Friday, Franklin Cudjoe commended the former President for his live addresses, urging President Akufo-Addo to same.
“Charley, JM is trending oooo. He is doing pretty well in the Q&A too – such depth. Nana Addo, boss, the game is now LIVE interactions with a Q&A opportunity ooo. We for look sharp. Next presidential address for be live with Q&A too,” he wrote.
