A lot of Ghanaian acts got nominated at this year’s African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA), but only one act from Ghana was a winner, and that was Eno Barony.

She was nominated Best Female Rap Act along with many others from across the continent – Nakai (South Africa), Moonya (Senegal), Rosa Ree (Tanzania), Bombshell Grenade (Zambia), Muthoni Drummer Queen (Kenya), Askia (Cameroon), Candy Bleakz (Nigeria), Keko (Uganda) and Rouge from South Africa.

Eno Barony eventually emerged winner for that category, which was the only thing Ghana won out of 29 nine awards at stake.
