Lawyers for former President John Dramai Mahama have filed an application for stay proceedings at the Supreme Court in the election petition hearing.
A seven-Member panel of the apex court chaired by Chief Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah on Wednesday issued some timelines for the parties to follow including the petitioner filing their witness statements by 12noon on Thursday.
However, the petitioner, John Mahama has instead filed a stay of proceedings.
