Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has advised Ghanaian youth not to allow themselves be used to foment trouble in the upcoming December elections.
He made the comment after registering for the voters Identification Card which ended on Thursday.
In a Facebook post, Shatta Wale urged all Ghanaians to exercise their civic rights by partaking in the registration exercise.
“Today I visited Korlegono my ancestral home to register for my voters ID as my civic right.
I want to urge each and everyone to register and vote in the upcoming 2020 election.
“Also I want to appeal to the youth not to allow themselves to be used by any political party to cause confusion during this election period. Ghana is a land of peace and we must protect it at all time. May God bless our homeland Ghana,” he wrote.
