Education Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has urged the general public to disregard statements making the rounds that some Universities are going to be reopened for continuing students.
The Minister who was interacting with the Parliamentary press corps said Government as of now has not made a decision on when schools will reopen.
Early today, some statements made rounds on several media platforms about the Koforidua Technical University and the Kumasi Technical University requesting students to return to school on August 23, 2020.
But responding to these rumors, the Education Minister said the statements, Dr Opoku Prempeh said, the statements making rounds may be fake.
“I haven’t seen the circular, maybe its faked so let’s be careful. There are a lot of signed documents that are fake. As we speak now Government has not made any pronouncement on continuing students,” he said.
