Damongo: Police woman stabbed to death; Boyfriend on the run

A female Police Constable number PWNO 0627, whose name was give as Sandra Asiedu, has been found dead at her residence at Damongo in the Savannah Region.

According to a Police statement, she was found in a pool of blood with wounds believed to be from knife stabs.

Savannah Regional Police Commander, DCOP Bediako, confirmed the sad incident to ABC News GH Reporter, Joseph Jimah.

The body has since been deposited at West Gonja District Hospital, pending investigation.

The statement added that her boyfriend, who is currently on the run, is highly suspected and the Police are on a manhunt for him.

The statement added that the Police administration has also started processes to inform the family of the deceased before giving putting further detail in public.
