Kasapreko Company Limited has donated 2,400 bottles of hand sanitizers to the Ministry of Information to aid in the country’s fight against the deadly COVID-19.
The hand sanitizers where donated alongside some packs of Awake Mineral Water and assorted drinks produced by the company.
Kasapreko as a result of the shortage and spike in prices of hand sanitizers in the country ventured into producing the product to sell at a cheaper rate to Ghanaians.
According to the company, the decision to venture into the production of the hand sanitizers was to first respond to call by President Akufo-Addo who urged local manufacturing companies to produce hand sanitizers at a low cost and secondly to contribute to the national fight against the spread of the coronavirus.
Deputy Information Minister, Pius Enam Hadzide who received the items on behalf of the Ministry, expressed gratitude to the management of Kasapreko Company Limited.
