Seven more persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in Ghana, bumping the country’s death toll to 182.
Five of these deaths were recorded in the Ashanti Region and the other two, in the Greater Accra Region.
Four of the deceased persons had no underlying conditions while the three others had diabetes, heart conditions and hypertension.
359 new cases have also been recorded pushing Ghana’s cumulative case count to 35,501.
The new cases were reported from 41 districts in 10 regions. 112 of the new cases were recorded in the Eastern Region alone.
According to the Ghana Health Service, 32,090 persons have however recovered or been discharged.
The number of active COVID-19 cases currently stands at 3,223.
Over 390,000 tests have so far been conducted.
