Like all Ghanaians, celebrities are shocked since news of the death of former President Jerry John Rawlings went public. 

The late former President was said to have died from Covid-19 complications because of which he rushed to the intensive care unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra last Sunday.

He remained on admission at the hospital till the morning of Thursday, November 12, 2020 when he was pronounced dead.

Many Ghanaian celebrities have have been shocked by the sudden demise of the man many Ghanaians had come to love and hate in equal measure.

Some of the celebrities have posted messages of condolences and eulogies, while some shared photos of themselves and Rawlings, and others posted photos of the late former president in his early days as a soldier.
