Brazilian and Asante Kotoko midfielder, Fabio Gama has refused to rule out the possibility of playing for the senior national of Ghana The Black Stars.

Gama, who joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season has so far become the toast of fans following his impressive performances for the Reds.

The 28-year-old has scored two goals and provided two assists for Kotoko in 14 games this season.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Pure FM, he revealed that he is open to representing Ghana if the opportunity arises.

“Why not, but it’s not an easy decision to make,” he said.

“I would have to discuss it with my family, so I can’t give a definite answer now.

“It’s a decision that you have to think about very well.”

Gama is still yet to feature for Brazil at senior level, despite making a couple of appearances at youth level, and will be eligible for the Black Stars, should he eventually get Ghanaian citizenship.
