United Kingdom (UK) Prime Minister Boris Johnson is now in a ‘stable’ condition in the hospital after he was rushed to the intensive care unit on Monday.
The incident occurred after his ‘persistent symptoms’ of COVID-19 worsened while on admission at the St Thomas’ Hospital in central London.
According to the UK Prime Minister’s spokesman, “The prime minister has been stable overnight and remains in good spirits. He is receiving standard oxygen treatment and is breathing without any other assistance.”
Adding, “He has not required mechanical ventilation or non-invasive respiratory support.”
Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo, on Monday, tweeted at Mr. Boris Johnson, wishing him a “speedy recovery and God’s blessings.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with him and the British people at this critical time,” President Akufo-Addo added in his tweet.
Wishing British Prime Minister, @BorisJohnson, a speedy recovery and God’s blessings. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and the British people at this critical time.
