Fire has gutted the studio of Salt FM, a radio station in Agogo, Ashanti Region.

The unfortunate is said to have occurred Thursday afternoon.

In a statement issued by the management of the radio, they indicated that no casualty has been recorded.

They also said that investigation in the cause of the fire has begun.

Management of the station further described the incident as shocking.

“The burning of the Salt FM studio has come as a terrible shock to the station’s management and employees. Though the incident is currently under investigation, what can be confirmed is that no life was harmed,” part of the statement reads.

Photos emerging on social media show that equipment in the studio have all been lost to the fire.
