Asante Kotoko and National Lottery Authority have today launched a new partnership deal that will fetch the club Gh¢1m in the ongoing 2021/22 season.
The partnership brings together Ghana’s statutory agency responsible for organising raffles with the country’s biggest and one of the best sports brand on the continent.
Speaking at the launch, Director General of the NLA, Sammy Awuku said the partnership was born after discussions during a visit to his office by our Management and the transparent leadership of our Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah.
“We are here to sign a one million Ghana Cedis Partnership deal which we believe will help relieve the team’s financial burden”, he said.
“We also want to thank you for what you did last season and the show of transparency in your dealings. But we believe this season will be a better one for us all.”
At the tip of this partnership is the ‘Atena’ game which our supporters can stake with GHc2 ahead of our matches.
“What we want to introduce is the Atena game which will be rolled out next week”, Sammy Awuku revealed.
“The game will be such that, lucky supporters who can predict five jersey numbers correctly stand the chance of winning amazing prizes and a cash-back with just a GHc2 stake.”
Nana Yaw Amponsah was grateful to NLA for the partnership and entreated the supporters to patronise the ‘Atena’ game to win some amazing prizes while also helping the latter to recoup their investment.
