The newly formed Board of Directors for Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been banned from engaging with the media according to a member of the Board, Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi.
Members of the 12-member Board have been granting interviews to various radio stations since their inauguration on 28th May, 2020.
But in an interview on Opemsuo FM, Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi revealed that Board members are no longer allowed to engage with the media but rather stay focused and fulfill the task given to them by Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
“We have resolved to pull out from talking to the media to restrict ourselves to the actual work that was given to us by Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The work will ultimately do the talking for us,” he said.
He added that all the supporters of the club should back the board as they rebuild the club to lift standards to a higher level.
“We are going to build something substantial for the supporters, and we will definitely do it,” he promised.
