A warehouse at Suame Magazine in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi has been gutted by fire Tuesday morning.

The warehouse according to reports, is used for the storage of vehicle spare parts.

The Suame Magazine fire incident is reported to have started at about 7 am in the morning.

Three fire tenders were at the scene as fire officers broke into the building to contain the fire.

Firefighters at the scene managed to bring the inferno under control after almost two hours, according to reports gathered by ABC News.

No casualties have been recorded so far, but vehicle spare parts worth hundreds of thousands of Ghana cedis are feared destroyed in the fire.

This is the fourth fire incident recorded in the Region in the last three days.

It comes a day after fire swept through some wooden structures serving as makeshift shelters at the Dagombaline slum in Kumasi on Monday, January 11, 2021.

Before that, there had been fires at the Republic Hall Mini Market at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where over 10 shops were affected, and another fire incident at Aboabo station, also in Kumasi.
