The Electoral Commission (EC) has stated that 98% of all network challenges have been resolved and has assured the general public that, by close of day, Monday, July 13, 2020, all challenges will be resolved and registration will continue without hitches.
According to the Commission, “… all the issues will be resolved this Monday July 13, 2020 to enable registration take place at all centres without delays.”
This comes after an extension of the registration exercise at some centres where the undue delays as a result of “technical problems.”

The EC began a compilation for a new electoral roll on June 30, 2020 after it was given the green light by the Supreme Court following a legal battle with several groups and individuals including the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
