Deputy Information Minister, Pius Enam Hadzide, has professed that the first term achievement of President Akufo-Addo supersedes that of any other President in the Fourth Republic.

Pius Hadzide’s assessment comes after the acclamation of the President and his Vice as the candidates for the NPP in the 2020 elections.

According to Pius Enam Hadzide, the achievements of the President across the various facets of the nation’s economy is unprecedented in the 4th Republic hence the decision of the party to offer him the chance for a second term.

Any attempt to remove Auditor General from office will irreparably tarnish Akufo-Addo’s record – Prof. Azar

Speaking on TV3’s New Day on Monday, June 29, 2020, he expressed that “if you check, for a first-term government in our Fourth Republican dispensation, no government, including that of the most venerable John Aagyekum Kufuor,  no government has come close to delivering on the life-changing achievements, no government has come close.”

Citing cases to back his argument, Pius indicated that “you can talk about the free SHS, the restoration of allowances, you can talk about the developments you’re seeing in agriculture, you can talk about the light industrialisation happening in the one-district one-factory, I can go on and on”

The Deputy Information Minister expressed his optimism that their works will endear the government to the hearts of the electorates to give them another term to govern.
