Deputy Minister for Information and Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah Adjei last Thursday submitted her filing forms to seek re-election as the Parliamentary Candidate for the area ahead of the December general elections.

The MP was accompanied by her Husband and Presidential staffer, Charles Bissue, polling station and constituency executives as well as party supporters amid drumming and dancing.

Speaking shortly after filing her nomination, Nana Ama Dokua thanked the crowd that had gathered for their massive support.

“I thank you for the support and confidence reposed in me to lead the good people of Akuapem North Constituency once again. This massive support is an indication of the hard work and the unprecedented developments Okuapemman has seen within these few years, having assumed the position of Member of Parliament” she said.

The Deputy Information Minister urged the supporters to continue to engage themselves meaningfully and positively, “even as we go through the various stages and processes expected of us before the April 25, 2020 primaries.”
