The Ghana Immigration Service has apprehended 28 Burkinabes at the Hamile District barrier in the Upper West Region for illegally entering Ghana.
They consist of 19 males and 9 females, aged between three and 64. They came in by bus with registration number GN 2220-10.
According to immigration officials in the area, the illegal migrants were arrested for entering the country through unapproved routes designated for farming activities.
The immigration service has since repatriated all of them.
