At least 23 children have been killed in a fire at a boarding school in a suburb near the Liberian capital Monrovia.
Information gathered by ABC News indicates that the fire broke out in the early hours of today when school students were sleeping in a building attached to a mosque.
Liberian Police say they are still looking for bodies in the ruins of the building.
President George Weah earlier today tweeted his condolences to bereaved families saying it must be a tough time for families of the victims and the entire liberia.
The Police has indicated that the fire was caused by an electrical issue, but investigations are continuing.
