Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has vowed to fight till the end for a round of 16 berth as his side take on Comoros in their final Group C game at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nation.
The Black Stars, who will miss Baba Iddrisu due to a hamstring injury have yet to record a victory at the on-going AFCON in Cameroon but stand a chance of going through to the round of 16 if they beat Comoros on Tuesday.
Ghana lost 2-0 in their opening game against Morocco and were held to a 1-1 draw by Gabon last Friday.
“We will fight until the last moment in every match,” coach Rajevac said, “for us, it is important that we still have a chance to qualify and we are all aware of that.”
“We will do our best, we will motivate the players, we are all aware how important this is and we don’t want to go home.
“We want to stay in the competition and we will do everything in our power to make it happen.”
Ghana are currently 3rd in Group C with only one point after two matches played.
